Christmas Cards!

I design my own Christmas cards for my clients. After I photograph a session, I work with my clients to design their own personal card. Everything is custom, from the Christmas saying to the color choice. This is my favorite time of year, I start working on designs in the summer. Here is a quick sample I put together. Once a customer chooses a design they are the only ones that use that design.

Mr. and Mrs. Mills!

I know I posted Mike and Luisa's wedding photos earlier, but I loved these photos and have been playing around with some ideas. I can never stick with a logo, because I am always creating new ones.........I am thinking about have one logo for my portraits and another for weddings. My wedding logo will be more elegant than my portraits. I really love the brocade fabric that is popular right now, so I am playing around with an idea using that as my inspiration. I would love to hear any opionons.

Joe and Kim Hicks!

Joe and Kim got married October 25th! It was a very cold October day, so I was a little worried the weather wasn't going to work for them. However, the sun came out and it was a beautiful wedding. The couple had their ceremony outside over looking a beautiful golf course. It was the perfect fall day! Kim looked stunning and was probably one of the calmest brides I have ever encountered. I will keep her in mind for my wedding day. She was so relaxed and excited that it made this wedding very enjoyable! Thanks Joe and Kim! I really had a great time:)

I photographed this family last month and they were so nice! Their son made me laugh the whole time! He had the best expressions. They were so easy and fun. I think we were able to get some really candid moments, you can feel the love this family has from looking at these photos. We even got a funny face one! The kids couldn't wait to do this one!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE! I was at a photo shoot in Evansville and on my way home I drove by this old house. It was so spooky that I stopped and took a picture of it! I think it is very fitting for this day:)

Introducing Macy!

My finace and I got a new puppy!!! She is a golden doodle. We named her Macy. She is so lovable and sweet! We are so excited. Aren't puppies just the cutest things ever!!!

Senior Pictures!

I just did this session today and I couldn't wait to come home and work on these photos. Cassandra should be a model! She was so gorgeous! It was pretty cold so she was a good sport to do everything I told her! Thanks Cassandra! They turned out great and I can't wait to show her the rest!

I did this session a little while ago, but I just loved these pictures so much that I had to share. This little girl had the most amazing eyes!! So cute.....

Just a little something I had on my mind.....

Something I try to do in my photography is catch moments of children being children. It might be a look, a distinct pose, a hug to another sibling, or even a cry. Its these moments that make up the very essence of children. I don't like to pose kids, it takes away from the camera capturing their true personalities. I really love just being with the kids for a while before starting, talking to them so they feel comfortable. Its what I think makes all the difference. What I believe, is to capture these moments, so the family can someday look back and smile.

This is my third time to shoot Pressley. I have had the pleasure of watching this gorgeous little girl grow up from the beginning. She is a quite the girly girl and I love shooting her because it means I can bring out all the frills! She is just too cute, and always makes me smile:)

SO IN LOVE.....

I wanted to give you a sneak peek at the engagement shoot I did with Katie and Kevan. They were sooooo cute! A really fun loving couple, and you could just tell how in love they were with each other. They had the coolest dog too! We had fun, and I couldn't wait to post a couple. More to come!

Senior Picture Time!

It is so beautiful outside right now, perfect weather for pictures! I shot Matt's Senior Pictures and I love how they turned out! He is a rugby player, and wanted to incorporate his uniform into some pictures. I wanted to do something different when using his uniform, nothing like laying across a car in a jersey (yes, my fiance has a senior picture like this). SO CHEESY! Senior pictures should reflect who you are at that stage in life, and I think these did Matt justice.
